Oversee all day to day quality operations

Oversee, training, and develop Quality staff of 2 supervisors and 28 techs

Address any and all issues of USDA, Production, and Sanitation as it pertains to Quality

Review and Address customer complaint and implement corrective actions

Collaborate with QC, Production, and USDA to enhance continuous improvement and process

control

Report all issues/incidents to Quality Director for further action if required.

Update, revise, or change Quality procedures as needed based on process changes.

Retain records for review by QA director, USDA, Customers, Etc.

Professional Experience

QUALITY:

Responsible for all finish product testing; i.e. sensory, analytical, etc.

Preform daily quality systems checks’ i.e. CPs, CCPs, food safety

Responsible for all equipment calibrations and verification

Manage quality records and data retention

Administer finish goods and raw material quality holds to insure that quality/food safety problems are

investigated and effectively dealt with.

Perform troubleshooting and problem solving relating to quality/food safety parameter issues.

Research and data collection for trial and new product

Manage traceability logs; i.e. metal report, hold report, etc.

Modify and revise documents in eQCMS (Quality Control Management System)

Collaborate with QC manager to write, implement, and monitor SOP, SSOP, and HACCP

Applies feedback to improve performance monitor own work to ensure quality

Ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent

sanitation:

Perform daily SSOP checklist

Preform Pre/Post cleaning swabbing

Train techs on swabbing techniques; i.e. APC, AntiBAC, Salmonella, and Listeria

Implement HACCP and Report findings to Sanitation Manager

Technical:

3+ Years Bakery Exp., Some Poultry, and Knowledge of Dairy (cheese making)

Proficient with MS Office programs

Knowledgeable of OSHA rules and regulations

Experienced in manufacturing safety policies including GLP/GMP, FDA, USDA

Audit Readiness, regulatory and third party audits including FPA, ISO, FSSC, HACCP validation

training:

Manage, mentor and train QA hourly employees which includes but not limited to GMP, CCPs, food safety,

food quality specifications, and employee safety

Train manufacturing personnel in the quality/food safety system and related quality procedures, responding

to food safety/quality related issues and providing technical assistance as needed,

Advise manufacturing personnel on proper product sampling techniques.
