Special Projects:
. Served as the President's representative in negotiations surrounding the
sale of a 4600-acre parcel of City-owned real estate (commonly known as
"Columbia Bottoms"), which culminated in a deal between the City of St.
Louis and the Missouri Department of Conservation containing the
following: $9.3 million dollars in cash payments, to be made in three
installments including interest; the City's retention of subsurface water
rights for development as an alternative source of water; the City's
retention of all necessary easements to access water beneath the
property; the City has a zone around the levee in which it can engage in
completely unrestricted water production without any consultation from
the State.
. Served as the President's appointee to the Communications Infrastructure
Plan Development Oversight Board (COB). This board was responsible for
expenditure of allocated funds ($400,000) to hire a consultant to assist
the City in the development of a comprehensive plan for linking the
City's communications infrastructure (with emphasis on data
communications).
. Served as presidential appointee to committee assigned to consolidate all
contracts for City bill collection services, regardless of department.
. Served as presidential designee in property transactions between City of
St. Louis and Bi-State (local regional transit authority).
