Mission Support Group Superintendent: 19th Mission Support Group Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. In this assignment, performed as key advisor to the Mission Support Group commander on leadership and management issues affecting seven squadrons supporting 5,200 military and civilian personnel, 15,000 dependent family members, and 34,000 retirees. Key responsibilities included oversight of communications and information systems critical infrastructure protection, incident reporting and analysis. Additionally oversaw the activities of the base fire department, and security forces responsible for the protection of this major Air Force installation. Also advised base leadership and consulted with the base communications squadron and local law enforcement on physical and personnel security and the protection of high value assets, threat reduction and survivability and determining the installation security posture. Participated and coordinated on numerous “Major Accident Response Exercises” or “MARES”.
Little Rock AFB, ARKANSAS
Chief Enlisted Manager: Chief Enlisted Manager for the 314th Communications Squadron, Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. In this assignment, had primary responsibility for the leadership, guidance and welfare of 180 military and civilian personnel. Provides oversight for unparalleled fixed and deployed command, control, communications, computer, air traffic control and Information Management support. Managed the Communications and Information Awards Program. Oversees the communication infrastructure planning and services for the 314th Airlift Wing, 463d Airlift Group, USAF Weapons School and 37 other tenants at the worlds premier C-130 training base. Managed $49M of equipment while executing a $2M budget. Oversees the training and development and set policy for 93 assigned Communications personnel across 3 specialties/career fields supporting 5,500 base personnel. Advises commander on issues concerning training, manpower, budget expenditures, contingency operations and mission shortfalls. Set standards and mentored personnel on personal and professional development. Coordinated with higher headquarters on all network security threats and vulnerabilities and ensured personnel were trained to respond to issues that had the potential to impact the network capabilities of the installation. Also oversaw the activities of the Communications Security and Information Assurance functions for the unit and installation.

Superintendent, Executive Travel Communications: Superintendent of 4 teams comprising 70 personnel that provided worldwide communications support to the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Secretary of the Air Force, and Chief of Staff of the Air Force. Oversaw security manager operations and mission security for all assigned personnel and assets. Worked with Pentagon Security personnel were evaluated via background checks prior to being granted program access. In conjunction with physical security personnel, worked to establish the threat environment of each mission prior to implementation.

Chief of Communications Maintenance: Responsible for communications support for all space launch activities in support of the National Reconnaissance Office at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Provided key secure communications support to NASA Director after crash of Challenger. Instrumental in establishing and maintaining physical and network security during 9/11.
