products: cement, construction aggregates, and concrete and gypsum
wallboard. In 2010 the company was the world's second-largest cement
manufacturer by mass shipped behind Holcim
Responsibilities:
1- - Provide end-to-end solutions that help users monitor the performance
of their systems and services, and identify and prevent incidents that can
compromise their availability. Delivering LAN & WAN statistical monitoring
to provide a comprehensive view of the network infrastructure. Statistics
are collected from all network infrastructure devices (hubs, routers,
switches) over a 24 x 7 period and produces real-time and historical
reports on bandwidth utilization, network delay and error conditions.
2- Controlling and administrating of networks and data center's power to
improve systems uptime and staff productivity to save power and money.
3-Providing fault, performance, configuration, and availability management
statistics. Also simplifying network equipments administration consuming
tasks time, efforts, and configuration mismatch.
4- Delivering a proactive strategy to protect systems and data from threats
and exposures, including security configuration reporting, change auditing,
and log management.
5- Responsible for the day to day management of the Help Desk staff, which
supports over users, as well as working on issues that technicians are
unable to resolve.
6- Provide lunch seminars for staff, develop and deliver ongoing training
for existing software, such as Word Styles; Archiving in Lotus Make
PowerPoint work for you; Understanding MS Project; and Lotus software for
researchers. Handle IT component of the new staff orientation program.
Monitor the GWI Helpdesk software and generate management reports on call
resolution statistics.

staff upgrades, ensuring proper configuration of desktops, confirmation of
user profiles, connecting of security devices.

The Louis Berger Group, Inc. implements the Inma Agribusiness Program, a
$92.5 million US Government initiative begun by USAID in 2007 to increase
the competitiveness of Iraqi agriculture and agribusinesses. Located in 14
governorates throughout Iraq, the program assists commercial agribusinesses
producing high-value agricultural products considered most likely to
increase employment and gross revenue of the farmers and businessmen
involved in their production and marketing.
Responsibilities:
1-Setup and Maintain the IT equipment for the users and offices within
2. Install and maintain Internet connections for the Inma Iraq offices in
the HUB
3. Maintain optimal performance of communications networks and computer-
based
Systems and related equipment.

Stabilization Program (CSP), a $644 million US Government initiative
awarded to IRD by USAID in 2006 to help stabilize and economically
revitalize Iraq. Located in over 15 critical cities nationwide, CSP
assists Iraqi communities through rehabilitation of community
infrastructure and essential services, vocational training,
apprenticeships, job placement assistance, business development through
grants and management training, youth engagement and conflict mitigation.
