1. M/s NASSER S AL.HAJRI CORPORATION., SAUDI ARABIA

Nasser S. Al –Hajri Corporation (NSH) established in 1978, has grown, not only as the largest but

Project: Jubail Export Refinery Project, Saudi Arabia

The Jubail export refinery project (JERP) is a joint venture consortium between Saudi Aramco and

TOTAL S A, France. It is located at Al Jubail -2 in the east coast of Saudi Arabia. Daelim Industrial Co. Ltd.,

Saudi Arabia was awarded the EPC contract of package 2B which included the construction of sulphur, amine &

sour water treatment plants.

Client : SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL Refining & Petrochemical Co., Saudi Arabia.

Designation : QA/QC Piping Inspector

Period

RESPONSIBILITES CARRIED OUT

Responsible in piping project planning, screening of piping project opportunities, route selection, third party

and environmental impact studies, feasibility assessments and concept selections, and front-end design.

Review of project specification and P&ID s.

Handling all piping technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems, including the

drawing of field sketches when necessary.

Coordinating with engineering and construction and liaise with the client on detail engineering requirements.

Develop construction engineering technology in line with company policy and procedures

Elaborates construction feasibility analysis evaluating the available materials & drawings.

Responsible for piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule,

procedures, specifications, priorities and availability of construction drawings

Ensure the productivity and quality is maintained by subordinates. Coordinate with other disciplines in site.

Monitoring the daily work activities of sub contractor and updating sub contractor progress reports

Assist design department in solving piping modification and technical problems in the field.

Provide technical answers to engineering queries raised up by the sub-contractor confirming design drawings

and standard requirements

Responsible for counter checking by isometric/piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location,

orientation, alignment and plumpness.

Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module. Preparation of “as built” drawings.

Preparation of field piping system test packages,including system limit on P&ID and piping isometrics

Responsible for carrying out mechanical clearance, conducting hydro and pneumatic tests, fulfilling

commissioning and pre-commissioning requirements for the project.

Responsible for line checking after hydro test to complete the post punch list prior to sign-off the test

packages before signing the completion of piping / mechanical.

Ensure that all the valves, orifices, spectacles, spacers, strainers etc are installed in correct flow direction and

orientation

Ensure that hydro test reinstatement is to be done as per procedure. Ensure that all punch list items are

resolved; client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no prolongation of project.

To read isometric drawings with MTO & supports and work accordingly. Familiar with International Design

code like ASME, ANSI, API

2. M/s DPC ENGINEERING PROJECTS PVT LTD., INDIA

DPC engineering PPL is a major contractor of Bharath Heavy Electricals LTD ( BHEL) . DPC was awarded

Erection of TG packages including rotary & static equipments and fabrication and erection of Piping.

Client : BHEL

Duration : 4th Feb 2012 to 10th apr 2012

RESPONSIBILITIES CARRIED OUT

Supervising the work, Manpower handling and coordinating with client.

Monitoring piping material take off as per Isometric drawing according to project specification and spec.

Attending meeting with clients and to discuss the project requirement and consultancy to resolve technical

problems

Execute Hook Up, modification and construction activities.

In ward material calculation according to scope of work and conducting the project material inspection

Support the pre commissioning and commissioning activities like air blowing, steam blowing, chemical

cleaning and nitrogen purging etc

Execute Transition bend hook up and Tie in point hook up in process plat area with quality and safety

standards

Test package preparation and hydro testing of Hook up lines with process flow identification and Test

pressure

Inspection clearance slips of piping spool, project and surplus material.

3. M/s SHREESABHA ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION

Sreesabha is a construction company which provides exclusive production and engineering support

service, plant maintenance, heavy machinery jobs,erection of pipe lines and fabrication activities.
