ODS/Data Marts on Oracle 11g, allowing STAR to effectively and consistently grade the Servicers.

OLAP Cubes) that enabled Microsoft SQL Server (instead of other more expensive platforms) host BAC’s

Improvised partition strategies for very large dimension/fact tables and Cubes to enable SQL Server

Designed a metadata driven Impact Analysis system, which allows users perform valuable impact

Provided technical resolutions to many challenging obstacles during the implementation of

Countrywide’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Performance Management System, which is one of the earliest

successfully large scale PeopleSoft EPM implementations.

Lead the effort of implementing the Business Intelligence strategies for Texas Children’s Hospital,

architecting the Data Warehouses, ETL processes and report solutions for the Hospital’s PeopleSoft HR and

Financials Systems.

Evaluated various Business Intelligence tools/solutions from top vendors and recommend the BI

tools/solutions best suited for the Hospital and its ERP systems to the upper management.

Architected an innovative, complete ERP BI/Reporting Solution that provided functionalities that

even PeopleSoft were not able to provide until years later with PeopleSoft EPM.

Developed the ETL technical and data mappings specifications for the Informatica development

team, help them address any design issues whenever necessary.

Architected the OLAP reporting strategy, developed the specification for the Essbase cubes for the

Essbase development team.

Key Responsibilities and Accomplishments

Made major contributions in designing and developing one of UHC’s key EMP projects,

“HealthCare Provider”, which allows UHC to measure, analyze performances of its HealthCare

Providers. The project was developed in PowerBuilder on MS SQL Server.

Designed the Conceptual and Physical Data Models, as well as the major components of the

user interface for the “HealthCare Provider” project. The Data Models were built with Sybase S-

Designer.

Designed ETL jobs to populate the Data Warehouse from various data sources, implemented

processes to automate and schedule these ETL jobs to ensure they run in correct order and the date

warehouse refreshed correctly.
