SAP Master Data Manager (2006-2012)
-Part of a task team to successfully implement SAP as MM lead. Directed data mapping of key information in
Oracle to SAP fields. Converted data from materials (inventory, assembly, and marketing) including cost, pricing,
planning and purchasing information, manufacturer’s data, and sales information. Also responsible for the
conversion of bills of material and routings. Worked with PLM and workflow consultant to implement engineering
change requests/orders with workflow approvals. Created all master data and engineering change desktop
procedures and successfully completed all user training.
-Created process using SAP engineering change master and workflow to control changes to the variant
configurator. Working with a workflow developer, the process included stages for development, functional testing,
approvals, and transport to production. Approval and test lists involved multiple departments and used MS
outlook for alerts and SAP business workplace for tasks. Completed desktop procedures and the training of
multiple departments.
-Converted materials, BOMs, cost, price and source information for new company acquisition (Edify) to SAP.
-MDM tasks include: Manage the creation of material master data using data from multiple departments,
functioning in a multi plant, multi sales organization environment. Creation of bills of material, both assembly and
marketing. Manage marketing pricing data requirements, including base price, discounts, uplifts, credits, and
royalty amounts. (by specific country/region and multiple currencies) Maintain working procedures with flowcharts
to support operations, training, ISO, and SOX requirements. Conduct functional testing to support new designs
and upgrades. Manage the ECO process (materials,BOMs and pricing) and the ECM process (changes to the
variant configurator ) for changes to all master data with accuracy and timeliness. Manage the export data in SAP
(Schedule B and ECCN numbers) and complete all EEI filings online for shipments. Manage all software releases
and storing supporting ISO images. Controlled the product lifecycle process using plant and sales statuses in the
material master. Supported the standard cost revision with exception (non-average) costs. Created SQVI reports
to audit and retrieve data as required. Reviewed SAP roles annually to ensure proper security. Streamlined
processes by enhancements and automation as required.

-Managed the Document Control team and a Product Configuration Analyst supporting Engineering,
Manufacturing, Purchasing, Master Scheduling, Materials Planning and Product Management.
-Participated in and supported audits for BVQI ( ISO 9001:2000) and Sarbanes-Oxley to ensure compliance.
-Converted materials, BOMs, cost, price and source information for new company acquisition (Brite), mapping
data from BAAN to Oracle. Moved Brite’s documents and part history information to Dallas.(from Boston) Also
converted master data from Brite’s UK facility, from their Intellect database.

-Part of an Oracle 10.6 implementation team as module leader for the Inventory and Engineering/BOM modules.
Developed all Oracle desktop procedures and process documents for INV and ENG/BOM modules. Conducted
user training with the implementation roll-out. Continued training for new hires.
-Part of a task force to develop and implement a custom sales configurator. Worked with the Oracle compatibility
of marketing materials, BOMs, and pricing requirements.
-Worked with the implementation team conducting functional testing for the upgrade to Oracle 10.7.
