Position: Resident Project Manager - 1100 Megawatt Combined Cycle Power Plant

system. This unionized labor, multi-contractor power project was approximately twenty percent complete, and months behind schedule when I took over

as Resident Construction Manager. The financial failure of the co-Owner and subsequently of the projects HRSG supplier combined with Owner supplied

equipment that arrived damaged due to improper long-term storage necessitated a Fast Track Construction philosophy. The immediate needs as

did not have training in contract enforcement and the importance of adherence to the plant functional specifications, nor were the contractual tools in

place to ensure compliance. Instituted contract reviews with all personnel involved including contractors, of the contract, functional specifications and

commercial requirements. This positions responsibilities included the formal implementation and management of project procedures, direction of site

engineering and construction management personnel, coordination with the owner, schedule (7/24s), coordination of start-up and commissioning with
