Start-up to Public. Founded and created two public companies. Created the
products, marketing and sales strategies, and participated in all aspects
required to raise capital from private placement through IPO. President of
third public company.
Internal Corporate Reorganization. Orchestrated a complete change in
corporate culture, organizational structure, business strategy and
direction including corporate identity, positioning, marketing, sales, and
distribution within the Internet.com world. Created the "Licensing"
strategy to resell 3d images of manufacturers products and their related
applications at a "commodity" price to retailers on the Internet. Companies
such as Yahoo and 38 other National brands have become Licensees.
Merger & Acquisition. Participated in the merging and financing of two
lack-luster public company subsidiaries, with total volume $39 Million
dollars leveraging the strengths of each organization, developing and
implementing strategies to foster growth, while setting goals and tracking
performance, while creating an entrepreneurial team culture. The companies
were originally purchased from Kayser Roth and Genesco and were merged into
one entity the "Humphrey Organization", with volume of approximately $150
Million. Humphrey's was subsequently acquired by Randa Industries.
Creative, Sales and Marketing Leadership. Identified and capitalized on
emerging opportunities to out perform competition and win market share. Led
cross-functional teams of product development, marketing, advertising and
sales professionals. Spearheaded the launch of over 500 licensed products
and gained largest market share in men's accessories Mass merchandise and
private label distribution channels in accounts such as Sear's, Penney's
and others.
Customer Relationship Management. Independent "Licensing" consultant to
major entertainment and international manufacturing concerns. Developed key
relationships with major retailers throughout the U.S. consistently
delivering Licensing Agreements and revenues for such companies as The John
B. Stetson Company, MCA/Universal Merchandising, Paramount Pictures, Zorro
Productions, The Southland Corporation (7 Eleven) and others. Designed,
developed and launched advertising and retail Brand awareness campaigns for
Courtaulds Fibers, Inc. a $5 billion dollar U.K. conglomerate, Democracy
Clothing, and other National brands featured in Nordstrom's, Saks fifth
Avenue and other upscale retailers.
Teacher and Motivator. Developed and taught "Marketing and Merchandising
Strategies" a pioneering fully accredited course created for graduating
seniors of the prestigious art and design conservatory Pratt Institute,
Brooklyn N.Y.

Conceived the product, advertising, marketing, merchandising and sales
strategy to target smokers as the ideal demographic for a smoker's
alternative confectionary product. Mint Condition won the 1986 "Best
Advertising Parody Campaign" awarded by Marketing and Media Magazine and
went public in 1985 for $800,000

Full responsibility for advertising and new product development of
Manhattan Accessories division. Sales for Manhattan Industries more than
doubled in the 1980's, from $230 Million to $500 Million.
