template for a predefined hypervisor and data store. Using Java, remotely powered off,
powered on, suspended and reset the VM. Also did a force shutdown and shutdown all
VMs operation remotely. (Java, vSphere client, blueJ)
• Salesforce Pages for a Merchandise Warehouse, SJSU Spring’13
Created a functional software application for a merchandise warehouse, tested the data
entered with triggers, used roll ups for discount calculation on items bought, calculated
taxes for varying inline price of the products. Used Salesforce pages to display an
interactive UI for the client to access warehouse and buy products. (force.com)
• Video Library Management System, SJSU Fall’12
Developed a 3-tier stateful and scalable online video library management system with
one hundred thousand customer base and one million movies. Implemented web services
as the middleware technology and ensured that the various exceptions/error conditions
and failure states were managed successfully. Transaction efficiency was increased by
implementing prepared statements, SQL tuning and connection pooling. Entire
functionality was also tested using J-Unit. (Java, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, HTML,
MySQL and Web Services)
• Mobile Application prototype for Starbucks, SJSU Fall’12
Developed a Starbucks application prototype for iPhone following a scrum approach.
Implemented design patterns to trigger specific events that change the UI based on the
user's touch. Used UML diagrams to analyze and design the project. (Design Patterns,
Scrum, Processing, Astah and Balsamiq)
• Client Server Interaction through CORBA, SJSU Fall’12
Implemented a simulation of client server interaction using CORBA. Used multithread
and synchronization process to resolve multiple client issues. (CORBA, Multithread
and Synchronization Process)
