Profile
Over the years of my carreer I have worked in several diverse
fields, all of which were centered around safety in one aspect or
another. I spent time in the U.S. Army, which was an important
starting point in developing a strong work ethic. I served for nine
years as a civilian law enforcement officer, which gave me
important and usefull skills such as evidence removal, accident
investigation, report writing, public relations, environmental
awareness, and many other different areas of training. Next, I
worked as a journeyman communications technician for a phone
company for eight years, where I was involved in job planning and
blue print design as well as the practical applications of the work
being performed. Safety was a large part of my position. My most
recent position was as a Safety Representative with a company that
has diverse expertise in natural gas and other petroleum pipelines.
This partnered me with the people that fill those positions and
gave me many opportunities to support others and perform well at my
position. My qualifications include an Osha 500 and 510 course that
authorizes me to train workers and supervisors in Osha Construction
Standards. I am a Smith Driving Instructor(with class A license),
certified First Aid, CPR, and AED instructor, and Asbestos Removal
Supervisor. I have a driven work ethic that would make me an asset
in any position.
