Description:
The purpose of this study is to develop an appropriate model for forecasting the short term interest rates. The main objective of forecasting is to examine and compare the trends of interest rate of money market instruments, to formulate a time series econometric model and to forecast interest rate using the model.

As the internship was at Department of Management Studies (DoMS), IIT Madras. The Objective of the internship was to analyze panel data and make use of econometric model in the data.

* Participated and won in national level swimming competitions and represented school at national level for 5 consecutive years.
