Project Engineer

FDOT District 4, I-95 Spanish River Blvd Interchange Improvements Proposal, Palm Beach County, Florida: This project included a new interchange on I-95 to Spanish River Blvd and improvements to both Yamato and Spanish River Blvd.

- Reduced the initial traffic control plan from three phases to a plan with only one phase showing the overall construction work zone, and a more detail plan showing detours and ramp construction. This consequently created a more efficient plan and decreased the overall construction costs of the project.

- Produced traffic control design and plans; responsibilities included creating detours, temporary ramps, barrier walls, typical sections, phasing notes and work zones.

- Quantified and estimated barrier walls, pavement markings, temporary pavement and lighting.

FDOT District 4, I-595 Corridor Roadway Improvements Proposal, Broward County, Florida:

The I-595 Express Corridor Improvements Project consists of the reconstruction of the I-595 mainline and all associated improvements to frontage roads and ramps from the I-75/Sawgrass Expressway interchange to the I-595/I-95 interchange.

- Assisted in estimating quantities, engineers estimate and compbook for roadway components and

maintained of traffic including retaining walls, barrier walls and superpave asphalt.

- Provided roadway design calculations and analysis. Produced plan sheets, cross sections and profiles.

FDOT District 4, SR 822 Sheridan Street, Broward County, Florida:

This project involves Design Services for Signing and Pavement Marking Plans.

Engineering lead contact for development of the signing and pavement marking plans, summary of

quantities and design analysis.

- Coordinated technical meetings and field reviews with FDOT, City of Hollywood and Broward County.

City of Ft Lauderdale, NE 6 St. / Sistrunk Boulevard Streetscape and Urban Enhancement Project:

- Post design services including plan modifications, revisions, quantity adjustments and design clarification.

- Executed the redesign of the signalization plans, including conduit runs, pedestrian ramps, detectors, traffic signals, tabulation of quantities and field reviews.

- Attended weekly construction meetings, field reviews, field inspections and mediated design issues.

CITY OF BOCA UTILITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT-Boca Raton, Florida. 2005-2007

Co-Op Engineer

- Responsibilities included conducting various water, sewer, and reclaimed water inspections.

- Also responsible for the review of design plans, utility record drawings, testing results, shop drawing and preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
