Project Title:

Computer Based Boiler Feed Pump Protection and Changeover Scheme

Project Descripition:

The Project deals with developing a protection system for Boiler feed

pumps employed in Thermal Power Station. In this project, "COMPUTER BASED

BOILER FEED PUMP PROTECTION AND CHANGEOVER SCHEME" is proposed to connect

the sensing device for sensing the signals such as pressures & temperatures

and sends the signals to the analog to digital converter. The digital

signals from the ADC are given to PC through parallel port. Computer

display graphically all the parameter of Boiler Feed Pumps and sends the

trip signal to trip the Feed Pump through specially designed fast acting

drive circuits when abnormal occurs in any one parameter of Boiler Feed

Pump.

1. Executive member of Renewable Energy Club (2012-2013).

2. Member of organizing committee of REWOP'11 & REWOP'12, a National Level

Technical Symposium.

3. Member of organizing committee of TORQUIZ'11, a National Level two days

workshop.
