APRIL 2013 : A design of unified power quality conditioner to improve the
power quality by using PI
Controller.
Abstract: The power quality problems such as Harmonics,unbalanced voltage and
current by connecting non-linear load to 3P4W can be eliminated. The losses
present in the transmission line can be minimized with the help of UPQC by using PI
controller. The voltage and current can be compensated by Series Active
Powerfilter and Shunt Active Powerfilter respectively. This project mainly focused
on to improve the efficiency of the Power Systems )
