Title : ZIBEE WIRELESS VEHICULAR IDENTIFICATION AND AUTHENTICATION
Description :
ZigBee is a specification for a suite of high level communication protocols
using small, low-power digital radios based on an IEEE 802 standard for
personal area networks. The technology defined by the ZigBee specification
is intended to be simpler and less expensive than other WPANs, such as
Bluetooth. ZigBee protocols are intended for embedded applications
requiring low data rates and low power consumption. Applications like Home
Entertainment and Control in Home automation, embedded sensing and medical
data collection etc.,
Zigbee project can be classified as two sections. Transmitting section and
Receiving section. Components in Transmitting section are Input Keypad,
Micro Controller 8051, Zigbee transceiver and RFID tag. Components in
receiving section are micro controller, RFID reader, LCD, Data Storage
system (EEPROM), Zigbee transceiver. Transmitting section will send its
serial number to receiver using Zigbee transceiver, once it is received by
receiver section, RFID reader will read this serial number, if it is valid
then it request password for authentication. Password details will be
provided through keypad for authentication. If both serial number and
password got matched with EEPROM database, then vehicle is authorized
otherwise it is tagged as unauthorized.
