About the Project: Energy provides the power to progress and in these
modern world electrical power plays an important and vital role for the
development of any country. Among all types of power stations, the most
reliable and uninterrupted faults is possible only for thermal power
stations. It is very much important to keep the continuous and reliable
running of generator, turbine and transformers in the power stations.
Switch gears & other protective devices are used to detect the
abnormal faulty conditions and to disconnect the faulty elements from the
healthy system for further normal operation.

Project : DESING OF INSULATION SYSTEM FOR AIR
COOLED TURBO GENERATORS BY VPI PROCESS (at
BHEL).

About the Project: In large scale industries manufacturing
generators, insulation design plays a vital role. Insulation is known to
be the heart of the generator. The latest technology for insulation in
the world adapted by B.H.E.L. i.e., VPI PROCESS. This process is the most
effective way known to eliminate the dead air spaces that cause hot spots
within the coils. This is very effective in reducing mechanical
vibrations. These greatly reduce the audible noise level of the
generator.
Achievements:
. Secured the 1st position in B.Tech 4-2sem & 2nd Position in B.Tech 2-
2sem.
. Attended the personality development and Communication skills program
organized by RAMA KRISHNA MATH, Hyderabad
. Participated in school level & State level kabadi Competition and
received applauds & awards. Participated in Drawing and Painting .
