Projects handled during the Technical Experience

< Title: Water treatment project in vasavadatta cements (Power Plant DM

Section-16.2MW).

Details: The pre-treatment plant is designed to clarify the water

by adding chemicals and also to settle the sludge developed

in the process for which one high rate solid contact

clarifier is provided. The sludge from the clarifier is

collected in a sludge pit for transferring the sludge

slurry to clients existing sludge treatment plant for

further treatment. The demineralization plant each having

series of vessels pressure sand filter, activated carbon

filter, strong acid cat ion exchanger followed by degasser

system. We will have further vessels for Pressure sand

filter. This process contains variable frequency

controlled drive, centrifugal Pumps, motorized valves,

pressure transmitter and magnetic flow meter, RTD,

diaphragm valve.

Client: ION EXCHANGE HOSUR.

Duration: 2 Months.

Details: A horizontal boring machine or horizontal boring mill is a

machine tool which bores holes in a horizontal direction.

There are three main types: - table, planer and floor. The

table type is the most common and, as it is the most

versatile, it is also known as the universal type. A

horizontal boring machine has its work spindle parallel to

the ground and work table. Typically there are 3 linear

axes in which the tool head and part move. Convention

dictates that the main axis that drives the part towards

the work spindle is the Z axis, with a cross-traversing X

axis and a vertically-traversing Y axis. The work spindle

is referred to as the C axis and, if a rotary table is

incorporated, its centre line is the B axis
