Title WIND & SOLAR TRACKER HYBRID STREET LIGHT SYSTEM

The aim of the project was to develop a system which would provide sustainable

power solution for coastal regions in developing countries like India, Sri Lanka, etc.

Equatorial coastal areas have constant sea and land breeze pattern as well as

consistently high incident solar radiation. Therefore, these regions would be ideal to

Description implement a solar-wind power generation unit. This project involves the development

of a vertical axis wind turbine integrated with a solar panel to generate direct

current (DC) power that will be used to charge a battery. This system would provide

the basic electricity requirements for a house & can also light up the streets during

night.

1 week training on ‘Metture Thermal Power plant’ subcritical boiler with

capacity of 210 MW from Tamilnadu genco.
