ACADEMIC PROJECT:

• Driverless Intelligent Vehicle for Future Public Transport: GPS Guided Autopilot

Robotic Implementation

Description:

The objective of this project is to design and demonstrate a Driverless Intelligent Vehicle

that has an onboard GPS equipped autopilot system, which is capable of driving the vehicle from

one point to another without a human operator. The autopilot consists of a GPS guidance system

controlled by a 32-bit MCU, in which functions such as GPS guiding, obstacle avoidance and

motion control are integrated. Due to budget limit, we would implement the prototype on

a“robotic vehicle”.

Hardware tools: ARM Cortex-Mo,Ultrasonic Sonar sensor, GPS module,TFT touch
