Use of TiO2-Zr layer in Photovoltaic cell:

Tio2 a very well known photocatalytic layer can be used in place of conventional silicon.This when doped with Zr

using best effective method such as sol-gel or solovothermal method.The introduction of Zr facilitates increase in the

absorbtion of u.v. as well as visible spectrum of light.Zr will also help us in reducing the photovoltaic cells’s self

power consumption.Zr doped Tio2 also has much more lattice area so overall area of photovoltaic cells can be

decreased.Zr doped Tio2 will be subjected to experiments of band gap tuning,dielectric K tests etc, it also improve the

various thing while using the Zrdoped Tio2 layer in photovoltaic cell they are - Improved power efficiency, Reduced

leakage of current, Reduced production cost, Efficient photovoltaic capabilities.Size of cells can be reduced due to

improvement in quantum dots of photovoltaic cell. to ensure that each factor that is hindering present photovoltaic

cell,s performance can be checked and corrected
