a $1.2B fully automated UV water purification plant at Valhalla, NY.

This plant is the world's largest water purification plant with a capacity

to purify 2 billion gallons per day.

. Review specifications, designs and submittals of control panels, point to

point diagrams.

. Power systems 13.2KV feeders, transformers, standby generators (4

@2000KW), UPS's, MCC's.

. Witnessing of Factory Acceptance Tests of control panels, HVAC and Power

Systems. These tests consist of graphic representation on computer

screens of process control diagrams, HVAC, power monitoring systems and

their communications.

. Testing of instrument installation, loop checks, signal checks, fiber

the plant. This included equipment layout, instrumentation, fire and

smoke alarms, distribution and tie in to the existing PSE&G power source.

. NYPA-Fuel Cell Power Plant- @SUNY- Designed of equipment required to

install the fuel cell plant, tie in with the existing distribution

system, design layout, sizing of cables, lighting, grounding and

ancillary equipment.

. Jacobi Hospital, Bronx- SIM Center- Designed, Estimated, provided

Specifications and construction support for a medical training simulation

center.

. CUNY-Bronx Community College- Design of underground power distribution

and controls for removal of water leaking in man holes due to broken

steam lines.

. Con Edison @4 Irving Pl, NYC- Designed power control and instrumentation

for five water tanks at different levels for the fire system and domestic

water supply. This project also consisted of installing automated

controls through a programmable logic controller and use of Variable

Frequency drives.

. NYS-OGS- Great Meadows Correctional Facility- Design of fire alarm, power

distribution and lighting for a soap factory

. NYS-OGS- McGregor Correctional Facility- Provided the design for the

upgrade of Fire Protection system for the whole facility which consisted

of twelve (12) buildings spread out over a large area.

. NYS-OGS- Creedmoor Correctional Facility- Designed, estimated, provided

specifications and construction support for a newly renovated kitchen.

. NYU Medical Center- Performed assessment and code compliance review of

fire alarm systems for a hospital comprising of 2.5 million sq ft and

spread out in eleven (11) buildings.

consisting of smooth roller 2, 3, and 4 roller systems, gravure coating

. Troubleshooting and maintenance of a continuous process line. This

of motors used consisted of AC, DC, Eddy Current and Servo for precision

cut to length.

. Process controls and instrumentation. This consisted of PID multi-loop

microprocessor based temperature controllers, pH, level, flow, specific

gravity, pressure and conductivity.

. Environmental: Scrubbers for control of fumes, effluent neutralization

systems and thermal oxidizers for destruction of Volatile Organic

Compound's for emissions control.

I have been part of a project team to design, build and commission

production plants in China and India. I installed a $1M thermal oxidizer,

and completed a $3M renovation of a production line.
