I have over 17 years’ experience in contract/purchase order administration, including but not

(8/23/10 – Present) Meggitt (Addison), Inc. – Contracts Manager
Meggitt (Addison) (“MAI”) was acquired by Air Comm Corporation (“ACC”) on 5/20/13.
Contracts Manager for a commercial manufacturer of air conditioning and heating systems
for general aviation and military trainer aircraft.
Draft, edit and negotiate terms and conditions for all new contract awards and other binding
agreements for domestic and international customers utilizing corporate, SBU, and local site
guidelines. Strong focus on protecting company interests such as intellectual property, and
ensuring fair contractual and legal rights. Note that due to the acquisition of MAI by ACC,
the SBU reporting structure no longer exists.
Review, interpret and communicate risks and requirements of contracts, purchase orders and
non-disclosure agreements to staff verbally, in meetings, and in an accessible spreadsheet
format.
Receive and respond to aftermarket and OEM customer requests for quotes with parts pricing
and availability for drop-in orders after coordination with Operations, Manufacturing,
Procurement, and company ERP system. Enter purchase orders into ERP system, flow down
purchase order requirements to appropriate functional departments (i.e. Quality, Ops, etc.).
Under ACC I have moved beyond day-to-day standard purchase order administration/order
entry in favor of managing agreements, contract changes, scope changes, terms and
conditions, flow downs and compliance, etc.
Support Sales and Marketing with the generation of proposals for new development/new
production opportunities, including advising company directors, writing transmittal/proposal
letters, completing required forms (certifications, assertions, others as required), formatting,
finalizing, and uploading/submitting. Manage contractual aspects of scope change claims
and/or other modifications and amendments.
Entry level supervisory responsibilities for five direct reports under guidance and mentorship
from human resources and other managers/directors. Resolve performance issues, provide
contract administration mentorship, conduct performance reviews and determine merit
raises. Still developing in the supervisor role. Under ACC, the contracts administrators will
revert to sales and order entry administrators. Under this scenario I will be able to focus all
attention on the higher level aspects of contract management.
