Project title :Cargo logistic system
Description :
The Cargo Logistics Management System (CALM) software computerises the bulk (dry and
liquid) and break-bulk operations of a cargo terminal. It also handles ro-ro cargo as unitised general
cargo.This application software integrates all the core functions of a terminal vessel operations such as
registration, berthing and pilotage, general and dry cargo operations like load, discharge, internal
movements and delivery, stuffing and de-stuffing of cargo and related invoicing. CALM software helps
ports in warehouse management, cargo inventory control, timely and accurate cargo accounting and
automatic invoice generation. CALM also features a very effective and easier EIS reporting and EDI
messaging facilities.

Description :
Adaptive join algorithms have recently attracted a lot of attention in emerging applications where
data are provided by autonomous data sources through heterogeneous network environments. Their
main advantage over traditional join techniques is that they can start producing join results as soon as the
first input Tuples are available, thus, improving pipelining by smoothing join result production and by
masking source or network delays. here first propose Double Index NEsted-loops Reactive join (DINER),
a new adaptive two-way join algorithm for result rate maximization. DINER combines two key elements.
Then extend the applicability of the proposed technique. handling more than two inputs. Multiple Index
NEsted-loop Reactive join (MINER) is a multi-way join operator that inherits its principles from DINER.
MINER manages to produce a high percentage of early results, outperforming existing techniques for
adaptive multi-way join.
MINI PROJECT
Title : Modeling and automated containment of worms

Description :
Self-propagating codes, called worms, such as Code Red, Nimda, and Slammer, have drawn
significant attention due to their enormously adverse impact on the Internet. here present a branching
process model for characterizing the propagation of Internet worms. This model leads to the development
of an automatic worm containment strategy that prevents the spread of a worm beyond its early stage.
Specifically, for uniform scanning worms, we are able to determine whether the worm spread will
eventually stop. Our automatic worm containment schemes effectively contain both uniform scanning
worms and local preference scanning worms, and it is validated through simulations and real trace data to
be non intrusive.
