of water is a tedious task, especially when you have to walk a long

distance to the irrigation pump in the middle of the night to check

any problem.

With use of simply a GSM mobile and a 8051 Microcontroller a motor

can be made to operate from any part of country. Thus reducing

farmers effort and increasing productivity.
