Night Shipping Manager
Responsible for the shipment of over 300,000 pounds
of product on a nightly basis.
Managing and budgeting monthly expenses and labor
of the department.
Consultation with outside freight carriers when
shipment capacities are foreseen in order to
prevent service issues to our customers.
Employee trainings, reviews, all department
hires/interviewing, as well as all disciplinary

Assistant Receiving Manager
Responsible for over seeing that all inbound loads
are off loaded, received and stocked in an orderly
and timely manner.
Running daily aging reports to ensure that all
inbound product makes it to a permanent shelf
location to avoid no-stocks and write-offs to the
hub.
Over seeing and completing all non-conforming hub
purchase orders as well as branch special
request/purchase orders. This requires close
communication with National Purchasing and vendors
as well.
Identifying, routing, and resolving all
discrepancies returned to the hub.
Ensuring that I am capable of all administrative
tasks that the department requires incase of
absenteeism or emergency scenarios at the
management level.

Assistant Inventory Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
slotting of new or un-assigned product, weekly
budget overview, shared responsibility of weekly
meetings to all department employees, bi-monthly
inventory audits with less than 1% difference,
running aging reports for all product sitting in
holding locations for longer than one and half days
for loss prevention as well as upholding a company
wide goal of thirty six hours of in-transit.
Accountable for running a twice daily difference
report that helps track and ensure accurate
representation of a twelve million dollar
inventory, this also includes pro-active cycle
counting that helps retain the lowest no stock
percentage company wide for over twelve months.
Also liable for the Product Handling department and
its employees through out my daily shift.
April 2006 - September 2007
Assistant Shipping Manager
Responsible for ensuring that all product scheduled
to ship was loaded, and if under any circumstances
product had to be left due to capacity issues I
would notify the branch personally.
Accountable for overseeing freight and all other
LTL shipments which included filling out bill of
ladings, wrapping and loading all product, and of
course ensuring that the freight deadline was met.
Implemented a new recording source for all damages
that were received by the shipping department, and
personally handled the reporting and notification
of these errors to the help desk.

Responsible for the management of mid-day
activities including but not limited to; keeping
dock clear of any unnecessary pallets, clutter, and
etc., ensuring that the night shipping crew is on
schedule to begin freight and pre-loading, as well
as unloading and loading transfer trucks.
