Duties Performed: Responsible for coding Critical Care patients that were placed in
ICU. E/M leveling is done with 97 guidelines, do determine correct documentation for
physician services. Assign CPT codes to same day and ASC clinics for several area
hospitals. Anesthesia coding is also done with coding pain blocks and cvp lines.

Position Held: Physician Coding Specialist
Duties Performed: Proficiently code critical care and record time spent face-to-face
with the patients; includes coding for inpatient and outpatient procedures for Pediatric
hospitalists. Code bedside procedure done in ED such as invasive and non-invasive
monitoring, vascular access to airway, ventilation management, lumbar puncture and
cauterizations. Also coder for the General Surgery department including ER, bedside

Duties Performed: Responsible for data entry of patient demographic information
during registration. Revise edits to the IDX system to assure that the correct
information is in the database. Code all diagnosis that existed at the time of service that
relate to the patients care.

Duties Performed: Handled all receptionist duties for the lab office, including but not
