• Preparation of daily Generation Report and Sent to management, including SHR

Calculation, Daily Fuel Receipt & Consumption on Energy basis, Water Management and work done

during the shift.

• Reporting to the AVP (IL & FS Energy Development company Ltd.) about status of the

plants, generation and consumption patterns, deviations from prescribed norms, raw material

requirement, any plant abnormalities and unidentified problems, adopting the changes required and

communicating necessary information down the line.

• Energy saving implementations, Liasoning with all related authorities. Dealing with all

Job Responsibilities

• Working as a Shift Engineer during the season with the help of Boiler operator, Turbine

operator, Fitters and Electricians At 2000TCD sugar plant having Boiler of capacity 40TPH, 45Kg/cm2

pressure, 450deg c Temp & 3MW back pressure Turbine.

• Keeping a close watch on critical operating parameters, quality of utilities and

optimizing of the plant parameters to control deviations in the shortest possible durations, so as to

avoid interruptions in the dependent plants.

• Coordinating with other plants to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, power

supply and utilities especially steam to ensure maximum productivity of all the plants.

• Ensuring the safety systems and statutory norms as required are being adhered to.

• Coordinating with maintenance departments to ensure that preventive maintenance

jobs and critical jobs are carried out without delay and in a safe manner.

• Coordinating with electrical dept to ensure adequate power distribution in case of power

• In off Season, carried out all the maintenance of Boiler, Turbine, Mills, conveyors, all

types of pumps, fully automatic centrifugal machines etc.
