Perform all of the functions of a Physician Assistant within Interventional Radiology, and including, a vast array of interventional radiology procedures including, but not limited to, paracentesis, thoracentesis,
percutaneous drain placement and biopsies of solid organs/tissues/bones, microphlebectomy, first assist for arterial and venous interventions, as well as PICC, port, catheter and nephrostomy tube placements. Utilization of
multiple modalities, including ultrasound, mammography, CT, MRI and stereotactic guidance for said procedures; including breast biopsy. Evaluate patients to ascertain the appropriate interventional care needed and
evaluate necessity of interventional procedures on a case-by-case basis, as well as determine an appropriate pre-procedure, procedure, treatment and post procedural care plan; which includes both inpatient and outpatient
consultation. Follow-up atypical pathology results obtained on breast biopsies to ensure appropriate patient follow up. DEXA interpretation and reporting, rounding, kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty consultation and post-
procedure care, E/M billing, coding, administrative care and maintenance of Physician Assistant procedure tracking software, leg vein evaluation and treatment; including sclerotherapy, ambulatory phlebectomy,
endovenous laser ablation and follow up care, as well as perform cosmetic procedures such as Botox and dermal fillers. Coordination and organization of monthly internal continuing medical education training for the
practice. Pre-Med/Pre-Allied Health college student precepting and guidance. New-hire Physician, and new-hire Physician Assistant training for interventional procedures, including lectures series. I am also in the early
stages of functioning within an advisory committee for an impending Physician Assistant Program.
