PROJECT DETAILS

Name : ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM [ABS] FOR A TWO WHEELER WITH A SINGLE

BRAKE.

Abstract : The working model of two-wheeler braking system with a single

pedal was made and to be studied. This system was

integrated with the conventional braking system, this uses

a Electronically Controlled Unit (ECU) between master

cylinder and the wheel cylinders to control break system

hydraulic pressure. Generally a professional driver may be

capable of modulating the brakes approximately once per

second but ABS is capable of modulating the brake pressure

at a given wheel up to 15 times per second.
