Navigate Petrobras shuttle tankers (Aframax and Suezmax class) to enter and
leave the Terminal designated area safely; moor and unmoor tankers to and
from the FPSO or SBM facility safely and efficiently. Inspection and
maintenance of mooring and offloading equipments. Acting as terminal
representative onboard the offtaking tankers for all offloading operations,
including emergency situations, and for cargo documentation process.

SBM Offshore
Assignment Period from December 2006 till December 2011
It was serving aboard of the FPSO Espadarte, offshore of Brazil. Typical
main activities performed: in charge of all oil and ballast movements on
the unit, including transfers of oil and water from tanks to suttler
tankers and the discharge of produced water, to implement a programme of
frequent crude oil washing of cargo tanks, to ensure that the Unit
permissible shear forces and bending moments are not exceeded, in charge
for the structural and cosmetic fabric maintenance of the Unit, including
offloading system, corrosion control in cargo and ballast tanks, ballast
and crude oil washing operations, area authority during pull in / pull out
/ mooring lines re-tensioning operations and to undertake tank and void
spaces inspections. Promote safety awareness and broad application of the
ISM system, codes of practice and prime policies. Exercise effective
document control in accordance with ISM requirements. Ensure timely and
effective close-out of survey and audit action items. Monitor ISM feedback
issues ensuring effective close-out. Ensure change-management procedures
are appropriately applied. Ensure timely, effective reporting and
investigation of all accidents & incidents. Manage PTW system, associated
risk assessment and verification procedure. Organize planning and
scheduling of works/activities. Ensure compliance with class, flag and port
