Work in partnership with sales and customer service representatives to review and process order-related
paper- work and maintain a 6,000 SF warehouse. Other responsibilities includes shipping& receiving, material
handler, pallet building, inventory, distribution, picking & packing, sorting, mailroom, delivery of interoffice
mail, data entry, requisition additional supplies from purchasing department as needed and other general
warehouse duties. Also utilizing such warehouse-related equipment as forklift (noncertified),pallet jacks, cherry
pickers etc. Quality control is also part of my warehouse duties. Making sure all shipments that arrive to
warehouse are in perfect condition. Any damage will be noted on trucking BOL slip. Processing inventory using
PC shipping software such as UPS, U.S.P.S.(via Pitney Bowes mailing system ) and AS400 software. As floor
- supervisor I made sure that the day to day issues were taking care of. Such as scheduling and overseeing all
company rules and guidelines were kept up to company standards. We work hand on with expensive hearing
aids in the receiving process. My duties are to make sure that each aid matches the serial numbers on the
ledger and distribute to phase2 of the repair process. After that process is complete then it’s on to the shipping
part. Which consist of making sure everything that is supposed to be shipped is accurately being shipped.
Attention to detail is a must. Also have knowledge in UPS label making.

Maintained the Art Shop warehouse, fully stocked with store merchandise and seasonal items; unloaded,

records of all shipments. Receive shipments and count pieces; retain shipment paperwork; follow delivery

operating mechanical equipment, including fork
lift, pallet jack, and handcart. Sort and store items according to established procedures and locations . Open
crates and other containers using hand tools to unpack items received. Inspect shipments for damage and
defects. Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight,
description, and code numbers with invoice or packing slip or purchase orders. Recording any discrepancies
or damages.
