I recently completed 17 months as an Assistant Site Manager at Camp Wright, Asadabad, Afghanistan. My previous employment was as a C-RAM Senior Operator. I have recently completed two years as an Up-Armored HMMWV Principle Instructor in Afghanistan and worked 1 year as a Mounted Operations/C-IED/ CQM instructor Level II for MPRI (in Kuwait). Overall I have 7 years of experience as a senior Observer-Controller/Trainer involving a wide array of military subjects and I am an Army certified Instructor. I am a 2007 retired military veteran interested in worldwide employment opportunities. I have 22 active duty years as a US Army Infantryman MOS 11C, and 2 yrs Reserve MOS 11B. I would like to continue my career working with people who have high standards of professionalism and teamwork that I’ve come to expect in a work environment. As a former Army Observer Controller/Trainer, I have great experience with coaching, teaching, and mentoring deploy units as that was the major focus of my last Army assignment as part of 1st Army. This focus included a wide array of Classroom Instruction, Lanes Training and Situational Training Events. I have instructed Basic Rifle Marksmanship. As a Mounted Operations/C-IED instructor Level II for MPRI (in Kuwait) I planned, prepared, and presented C-IED Training, and Advanced Combat Pistol/Rifle training to units of various compositions and from various US military components. This included Rifle-Pistol transition Drills. I have served many times as Live Fire OIC and Range Safety Officer. My duties also included assisting the units with planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of their missions for C-IED Situational Training Exercises. I am also experienced at conducting both formal and informal AARs. I was responsible to assist and ensure proper lane setup and coordination with Role Players and Lane Master Gunners to ensure realistic and focused training was conducted. I am also familiar with the emplacement, employment, and recover of Lane Equipment and Pyrotechnic Devices. I am Army Instructor Course trained and have 10 years of instructing US, Coalition, and foreign partner soldiers in outdoor and classroom environments. I have experience defining course objectives, building lesson plans, resourcing, supervising, and conducting training. I also have the ability to evaluate training effectiveness. I have a great ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers and foreign nationals. I have great ability to maintain an organized efficient workflow in a fast paced environment. I have recent OIF – OEF experience and as a former 82nd ABN/101st ABN soldier and civilian contractor I have worked numerous years in austere environments to accomplish mission objectives. I have excellent experience in the use of military secure and non-secure radio communications equipment to include SINCGARS, Harris, ASIP, IMBTR, and associated COMSEC equipment. I currently posses an active Top Secret Clearance.

Linguist Assistant Site Manager MAY 2011-Present

Mission Essential Personnel, Afghanistan

• Provide operational, administrative, and management oversight to 250 -450 Local National and US Hired Linguists for linguist support operations in Afghanistan. The Linguist Site Manger (LSM) serves as the military unit’s primary POC on resolving assigned linguist issues, provides for and ensures accountability in the personnel database, and ensures linguists are inputting payroll data correctly. Identifies issues to the Site Manager and Regional Manager that are impacting assigned sites, linguists, and customers. The LSM serves on the staff front line in terms of establishing relationships with the customer and projecting the desired image and capability of MEP.

• Ensure daily meetings with the customer are conducted to manage expectations and that contract requirements are met. Conducts yearly professional development and event related performance counseling of linguists. Assist functional areas in recruitment and employee retention.

Provide input to reports as appropriate, to include productivity reports that involve collecting and

C-RAM Senior Operator

Northrop Grumman (Afghanistan)

• Supervise 3-person team responsible to provide operations, maintenance and system administration functions for the following systems:

C-RAM C2/FAAD C2 (Forward Area Air Defense Command & Control); AMDWS (Air & Missile Defense Workstations); C-RAM Network; LCMR (Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar) and LCMR laptop; WAVES IBS (Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System Integrated Base Station) alerting devices and wireless communications links.

• Ensures that all administrative and reporting requirements of the customer and internally are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. Must record and submit data for higher analysis to evaluate equipment and program effectiveness. Recommends improvements to operating procedures if necessary. Responsibilities include planning, supervising and instructing Drivers Training, Vehicle Maintenance (PMCS), Convoy Operations, tactical movement and C-IED combat for Afghan National Army personnel. Coordinates with Army and Afghan customers to ensure organized and effective training is provided. Erects antennas as necessary to establish and maintain good communication.

• Submits daily personnel, equipment, and operational status reports.

• Conduct Mounted Live Fire Marksmanship Exercises (Moving/Stationary vehicles). Fabricates IED training aids for classroom display and tactical movement drills. Ensure proper safety procedures are incorporated into all activities.

• Instructs ANA soldiers on the use of fielded communications equipment. Acquired good Dari language skills.

• Vehicle Rollover/Egress Instructor (HEAT). Performs maintenance and safety inspections of HEAT equipment.

• Assists in ensuring interpreters are properly badged and maintain compliance with base regulations. Responsible to train and mentor interpreters to ensure they are trained to relay professional military subject matter courses of instruction.

• Lead Instructor (Level 2) on Tactical Movement and C-IED training. Instructs and implements training on the latest TTPs of C-IED combat for deploying units. Fabricates IED training aids for classroom display and tactical movement practical exercises. Conducts AARs on all training events.

• Teaches, Coaches and mentors various types of units numbering from 20 to 80 personnel per class. Utilizes Scenario Events Lists to coordinate, evaluate and oversee essential combat scenario training involving player units, Civilians on the Battlefield, and OPFOR personnel.

• Duties also included the use of current tactical biometrics equipment such as the Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), the Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment (HIIDE) with their associated components. Enrolled over 300 TCN personnel utilizing (BAT/HIIDE).
