Erection & Commissioning

•Study and approval of drawings which are submitted for review.

•Managing activities pertaining to installation and commissioning of a wide range of machinery, systems,

•Conducting inspection, pre commissioning and functional testing to ensure the performance capacity of

various machines and equipments.

•Preparing schedules/plans for preventive maintenance & schedule shut down works, conducting regular

calibrations to ensure the performance capacity of various process control equipments

•Preparing analysis report of break down, planning and execution of counter measures to minimize the the

same.

•Preparing monthly Energy report, spares consumption and costing report.

•Maintenance and calibration of Control Valves at furnace area & rolling mill.

•Proactively identify areas of obstruction/ breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipments through

application of trouble shooting tools.

•To carry out the departmental activities by using SAP software.

Major Accomplishments:

• Active team member of Erection and commissioning of H.T and L.T Switchgear systems(Siemens Make)

• Code identification of Automation systems & software, Electrical motors, machineries, HT/LT cables,

Feeder units, Safety switches, tools, spares & accessories for Purchasing & Inventory module. And

erection and commissioning of Transformers, HT Motors, A.C. drives, Power control centers(P.C.C)and

Motor control centers(M.C.C)

• Expertise in PCS 7 (Siemens DCS) and siemens HMI WinCC 6.2.

• Multiple Tool Control Platforms with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and with Human Machine

Interface (HMI) workstations.

• Successfully commissioned AC drives for approach table from caster(Siemens Sinamics S 120) .

• Exposure of position drive control system, worked on simotion scout for simotion D controllers.

• Configuration of Foundation Field Bus compatible instruments like HMD(HOT METAL DETECTOR)
