Body Process Engineer/ Welding Engineer

Responsible for the welding processes in the body shop for the ML, GL, and R class vehicles. The MIG, Stud, and resistance

processes.

Responsible for all the Emhart stud welding parameters and quality for the body shop. Developed PM processes and gun

maintenance intervals also.

Worked on the Bosch adaptive resistance welding equipment. Optimized parameters for expulsion and weld quality. Also worked

on constant improvements in regards to welding equipment.

Currently working on the launch of the next generation C class being the Laser Welding Specialist. Working with Trumph Lasers,

Scansonic, E.H.R. vision, Visir, Robscan.

Proficient in Emhart, Kuka KRC2/ KRC4, Bosch adaptive weld timers, Fronious MIG, and Arplas.

Perform as one of the LSO’s (Laser Safety Officer) at the plant.

Coordinated weld improvements with the ultra sound inspectors.

Worked on launch of the Jeep JK body shop from build phase to current production. Setup all parameters and weld equipment.

Responsible for all the Emhart stud welding and resistance welding in the body shop.

Worked on Kuka KRC2 robots and ARO Servo weld guns. Calibrated all the Aro servo weld guns and responsible for all weld

programming and spot locations.

Directed the teardowns and reported the information.

Developed the PM’s and calibration schedule for the ARO servo guns.

Developed backup stud welding programs and implemented their programs for backup scenarios.

Experience with ultra sound inspection equipment.
