500 accounts "tops down". Manage a team of technical sales architects and engineers with a goal to add an
additional $31m in revenue to NetApp on these accounts. Accounts covered include First American, Broadcom,
Intuit, Qualcomm, Sempra, American Express, Catholic Healthcare West, CareFusion, Honeywell, Schwab,
DirecTV, Disney and 9 others. Exceeded 2012 goals by $14.6m or 303%.
9/2010 to 6/2011 Smith Micro Aliso Viejo, Ca.
Smith Micro Software, Inc. develops and markets mobile software products and services and an extensive line of PC
software products for business & home markets. Annual revenue: $ 130 million .
VP of Information Technology/CIO – Reporting to COO. Responsible for all aspects of the company’s IT
infrastructure, and is accountable for directing the information and data integrity of the enterprise and its groups and
for all Information Technology functions of the enterprise. This includes the current Smith Micro corporate data
center and the design and build of the new Smith Micro Pittsburgh Data Cen ter. Support the technical sales and
hosting service centers, production scheduling functions, help desks, communication networks (voice and data),
computer program development, and computer systems operations. Voluntarily transitioned due to company
downsizing and Data Center objectives were completed. Reason for leaving; critical revenue drop and a 2/3
reduction of staff in one quarter. I was over-qualified for managing a staff of five.
5/2008 to 9/2010 RealtyTrac, Inc. Irvine, California
RealtyTrac is the leading on-line market place and research center for tracking distresses real -estate market
RealtyTrac is used by the U.S Treasury, HUD, Yahoo, MSNBC and thousands of real -estate agents.
Annual revenue: $50 - $70 million.
CIO/CTO/SVP, Information Technology – Reporting to CEO & BOD. Provided systems support and technology leadership
for a privately held real estate information provider with over $50 million in annual revenue managing a $6 million annual IT
budget. Responsible for a 40+ person team providing Microsoft -based software development, web development/design, DB
architecture, data analysis/analytics/warehousing, DB administration, and IT hardware/software support. The team includes
outsourced development in Latvia (Diatom) providing .NET software development to support in -house teams and the SQL
Server 2005-7 database architect group. NOC leadership & responsibilities included building, managing, and mentoring
personnel, communicating directly with executive management daily, providing technology direction for the company,
managing relationships, vendor contracts, sales team support. Reason for leaving; the role was no longer need after the
acquisition efforts with First American were cancelled. The company has since been bought for the IP by an outside investor.

CIO/VP, Information Technology – Reporting to CEO. Primary duties focus on overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure and
business applications for all 6 DDi global locations. Responsibility included managing new growth/acquisition programs and
leading redesign of global MPLS backbone, HRIS, procurement, and the engineering SPC efforts.

CIO/Vice President, IT (2000-2006) – Reporting to CEO. Promoted to direct global IT efforts in improving operational
efficiencies, which included managing seamless acquisition/integration of $250 million. Cal. manufacturing company into
WDC’s $1.6b technology architecture, as well as leading ERP upgrade, supply chain execution, corporate relocation, data
Center consolidation, and IT for construction of 4 manufacturing facilities (24,000 emplo yees) in Malaysia and Thailand.
Rapidly advanced the ERP, CRM and overall ITIL application responsibilities for corporate h eadquarters and company’s 3
R&D sites and four factories.
PM for the development of the TMSC (Technology, Management Steering Committ ee) which defined and executed the 5-
year global IT technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with key business objectives, standardization, efficiency and cost
minimization.
Achieved 0.89% IT expense-to-revenue ratio – best in industry (vs. 3-4% average) per Gartner. Saved $27 million (51%) in
global IT expenses, $21+ million (56%) reduction in Corporate IT spending in 2 years.
Led global effort to consolidate and centralize distributed data centers into two standardized regional data centers with les s
than 24 hours total critical application downtime.
Completed Sarbanes-Oxley efforts on time and under budget with no significant deficiencies or remediation.
Reengineered multiple IT and business program methodologies to improve ROI and run -rate of systems/applications. This
effort resulted in reducing month-end close processing from 14 days to 3 days.
Cut maintenance contracts by 35% within 2 years by renegotiating outdated contracts based on cost of ownership for the

customers, resulting in favored discounts for Western Digital.
Managed overall IT growth from 1 factory to 4 in Malaysia and Thailand, as well as relocation of corpora te headquarters,

VP of IT and NOC Outsourcing (2000; 4 months) Zland.com Aliso Viejo, California. Spent a short period of time
supporting this start-up while my position at Western Digital from re -assignment to manage the IT for the 4 business ventures
owned by Western Digital which were closed due to lack of revenue recognition. Reporting to COO. Developed the IT
Department and Implemented entire IT infrastructure, systems, communications, and applications for corporate headquarters.
As executive in charge of network operation centers, established NOC locations for co -location ASP web hosting for more
than 1,600 companies nationally in 9 months.
Established first rudimentary SEO architecture to improve visibility and gain market share.
Director IS; North America - Western Digital; San Jose and 3 other R&D Centers. (1998-2000; 2 yrs) Reporting to
