• Responsible for inspecting all equipment to insure it is clean for next day’s use aft sanitation is through cleaning.
• Responsible for quality control and inspection of all products going out and coming into plant.
• Gathering samples of incoming ingredients and also products being made on a daily basis.
• Label verification and case checks to insure that all information is correct and that it matches product inside box.
• Testing salsa and other product for acid levels and making adjustments as needed.
• Testing quality of products for correct weights and checking can seams to insure that they are within specification.
• Collecting and sending samples for NLV (nutritional values) and corporate tasting.
• Entering all samples into computer for lab testing and before shipping.
• Checking fat content in all incoming meat.
