Introduction
I am a fully qualified industrial electrician with over 25 years’ worth of experience
working on LNG Power stations, Petro-Chemical plants as well as Offshore
Installations. I am qualified to Atex standard EXO1, EXO2, EXO3 and EXO4
and I am experienced in installation, testing and inspection of all Atex equipment.
I have experience of management of E & I works, health and safety and insuring
all works comply with current legislation. I have been responsible for the
verification of all documents and snag sheets to comply with client’s
requirements. Furthermore, I am a professional person with excellent
communication skills and always have a professional attitude towards my client’s
requirements. I firmly believe that there is no such thing as problems, only
solutions.

Duties – Full Compex inspection of Atex equipment in and around the gas turbine, and
report given to client. Disconnect, control, instrument, power cables. Disengage exhaust
shaft baring probes speed probes and thrust shaft probes. Rear shaft speed controls,
generator anti vibration probes .disconnect ball valves, then reconnect all after gt shaft
replacement, set all probes to 9.5 volts speed controls to 2.2 mm using feler gauges.
Limit switches, lift oil motors, reconnections. Test all valves for leaks, Test and
commission all works.
