OBJECTIVE

I am seeking a position as clerical/administrative support.

QUALIFICATIONS

I am proficient in computer use and quite familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Access and Excel) I have used and am familiar with Word Perfect,

Lotus, Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher to list a few. I have good people skills, a sense of humor and thrive in a busy environment.

WORKHISTORY

Woodfield Properties

I have been with Woodfield Properties for over 2 years. We manage rental properties as well as Vacation rentals. My primary job is customer

service. My duties include processing of A/R and A/P. Answering phones, filing, taking reservations for the vacation rentals. Preparing bank

deposits, contacting vendors to do repairs. I also prepare the weekly ads for the newspaper and website.

Alkar Human Resources

As an employee of Alkar Human Resources I have held 2 long term assignments. The latest of which has had me working at the Queen of the

Valley Medical Center. During my time here I have worked in the Engineering and Construction offices as an Administrative Assistant. My duties

for the engineering office included processing and monitoring the monthly PM’s. Processing electric and phone requests for service. Logging

and processing vendor invoices and forwarding them to the appropriate parties . I also handled customer service calls and provided office

support in general. My duties for the Construction office included filing and general office support.

I spent 1 year working in the wine industry. My duties included: A/R, A/P, Order processing, Shipping/Customer Service and filing. I was in daily

contact with Sonoma Wine Service, Vintners Express and Wine Service Coop. I prepared shipping documents and handled all issues regarding

the shipments and the tracking thereof.

Gundlach-Bundschu Winery

I was employed by Gundlach-Bundschu Winery in an experimental up-sizing position for their wine club department. In that position, I mainly

handled data entry and answered customer service calls. This position also included preparing for upcoming events at the winery from start to

finish.

Oakmont Village Homeowners Association

I held two positions while at Oakmont; the first being the Architectural Administrator. The job duties for that position were to make decisions on

design aspects in their relationship to the associations CC&R’s, combined with a volunteer group of residents who comprised the architectural

board. Included in this position were the responsibilities for compiling monthly and year-end reports as they correlated to the monthly

applications for changes, violations, complaints etc.

I was offered the position of “Activities” coordinator. In this position I was responsible for lining-up events and activities for the residents.

The position also included handling the daily cash receipts and posting them to their related accounts; Profit/Loss statements and resident event

coordination.

John M Pfluger, Architect/The Jack London Grp.

I was hired to act as an office manager for the architectural firm as well as back up for the Jack London Group. The responsibilities of this

position, required that I prepared payroll. Regularly maintained P/L’s. Enter A/P’s. and processed the A/R s. I put together informational packets;

Acted as a liaison between tenants and The Jack London Group. Prepared monthly statements. Managed and supervised when needed, the 2

restaurants that were owned by the JLG. I prepared press releases and handled most of the Public Relations.

City of Sonoma - Community Development Dept.

My capacity as Community Development Secretary included preparing “Public Hearing” notices and letters to the community. I prepared

community development reports for city, county and state governmental offices. I worked with clients as they submitted their building plans;

attended and kept minutes for the Bi-monthly Architectural Review committee; set up meetings, prepared informational packets and handled the

payroll reports. I also set up new residential accounts for the City of Sonoma Water Co. as well as processing water payments.

I enjoy reading, writing and music along with photography, cooking, and other creative endeavors.

My other interests include foreign languages. I speak fluently Slovenian. I also have studied German, Spanish and French.

I enjoy desk top publishing projects and have been involved in compiling and producing yearbooks, cookbooks, programs etc. for our church

and community.
