PLANT MANAGER (1995 TO PRESENT)
Promoted to drive productivity, quality, safety and profitability for the 126,000 square foot facility, generating $12 million in revenue and
employing 185 workers. Coaches and mentor 12 direct reports, developing key performance indicators and measuring performance to
goals. Hands-on leader who actively participates in daily floor activities to drive employee engagement. Constantly reviews processes
and controls in order to positively impact safety, quality, demand, morale and costs. Applies expertise and knowledge in process
improvement initiatives to improve operations and lead cross-functional teams on key projects. Actively participates in business
development and client relationship management activities, providing insight on capabilities and timelines during proposal development;
directly managing each step of the process for top five customers; and implementing the first project for each new client.
Instrumental in growing revenue 600%, taking it from $2 million to $12 million, and positioning the organization for
acquisition, as result of implementing best practices in plant management, including ISO 9001 and QS 9000 certifications, and
creating a scalable infrastructure that could support business growth.
Reduced overtime costs by $65,000 annually, improved productivity and revenue by establishing zones in work cells and
implementing a work area logging, tracking and scheduling program.
Consistently achieved 100% on time delivery which positively affected overtime issues, downtime and revenue by turning
around and reinventing processes related to production, customer service and employee development.
Significantly reduced on-the-job accidents to achieve a zero loss time injuries as a result of instituting the facility’s first
Workplace Safety Program.
