o Headed a team of 3, creating a prototype to direct train movement in the

face of unexpected obstacles such as animal traffic, in rural areas of

India

o Major components deployed were IR sensors, Stepper Motors, LEDs and

Microcontrollers for maneuvering train movement without any manual

intervention

o Analyzed various interfering factors seen in rural areas which act as a

hindrance for the IR sensors to operate

o Designed a fool proof system suitable to adapt to a variety of climatic

conditions and changes

o Presented the design as a prototype for the Indian railways which was

well appreciated by the judges
