Pre final year Project:

MANUALLY OPERAT ING PU MP

• The project work on “ Manually operating water pump” i s to improve the discharge.

• There is no need of any power supply and therefore this kind of pump can be implemented

for usage in r u ral areas.

• I t reduces the operating time when compared to ordinary hand pump.

• The construction of the project is very simple, and the cost is very less. In case of single

s tage reciprocating pump discharge is not so constant.

Final year Project:

V I NYL ESTER RE I N FORCED ARECA F IBER COMPOSITES

• Studied the physical and chemical composition of areca fibers.

• Studied the behavior of Areca – Vinyl Ester Resin composites under different mechanical

loads by using experimental methods.

• Developed the products (Gear and Plywood) from areca fibers composite .

• Analyzed the possibility of replacing conventional materials by composite laminates based

on evaluated mechanical and machinability properties.
