CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

INDIANA GOVERNOR’S AWARD WINNER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE

I served on the Lt. Governor’s Industrial Advisory Board for 3 years, with focus on cease and desist

orders for small businesses. I was instrumental in helping small companies get over the fear of

environmental regulations, and gave them the necessary tools to get back into compliance.

LOBBYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT

I wrote a state law allowing the use of non-carcinogen Stoddard solvents in some exempt industrial

applications. I secured a State Representative to sponsor the bill and argued it through 3 committee

meetings at the Indiana State House of Representatives. I met with the Federal USEPA who provided

documents creating exemption.

TEFLON COATING CREATOR

I developed and marketed the first water borne Teflon coating to be accepted by the automakers in cabin applications.

RECALL WIN

I negotiated with the CEO of a large offshore automaker for the recall of $ 60M in product by successfully demonstrating that they were at fault. The firm I represented did make a token payment of $ 240K in good faith.

REBUILT A PLANT FROM THE GROUND UP

I was brought in to rebuild a mid-size manufacturing plant destroyed in a fire. Our project was completed in 9 months. I partnered with the CFO in negotiations with the Insurance Company and through my efforts; we were able to collect $ 6M above their initial offer.
