methodologies. Managed the Mainframe Application Support, Distributed and
Legacy System Security and Call Center Support teams.
. Reduced annual operational costs by $500k by developing streamlined
processes and tuning the batch job scheduler. Ensured SLA's and SLO's
were consistently met by implementing restructured processes and
eliminating redundancy by conforming to a single point of source
resulting in reduced run times.
. Audited and tested Internal Control Evaluation of SOX, HIPAA and PCI
applications to ensure compliance of module deployment, logical
security, minimum access as appropriate, segregation of duties and
authorized approver matrices.
. Protected the PHI data of millions of patients and ensured the secure
chain of custody was not compromised between insurance carriers,
patients, Medicare and 3rd party print shops
. Developed, produced and published metrics to measure & improve Six
Sigma quality deliverables within the IT organization and reduce DPMO.
. Effected immediate improvements to Call Center as a result of a top
down analysis of the existing process from incident reporting to
problem resolution and implemented streamlined operations to reduce
the number of calls abandoned, calls on hold and delivered first call
resolution rate of 99.3%
. Partnered with Mainframe Service provider annually in mock disaster
declaration to ensure continuity of business and to continuously
achieve improved RTO and RPO
. Co-authored RFP to outsource Mainframe Service Provider (MSP) to
reduce cost. Awarded $30mm 5 year contract and rehosted the Mainframe
from IBM to CGI Canadia. Transitioned in 36 hrs ahead of schedule
within budget and zero impact to the 27 interfacing Distributed
Service applications in four continents
