Project Description

The Allstate Corporation is the largest publicly held personal lines

property and casualty insurer in America. Allstate was founded in 1931 and

As part of the ARS Auto business different applications developed using web

services to interact with the external partner like Mercedes, GM etc.

External partners will send the dispatch to Allstate using web service,

after that all state will send the request to logged in providers. And the

response will be sent back to Partner again using partner web service.

Project Description

Agency Operating Systems (AOS) is an Insurance product designed for

capturing the workers compensation insurance for the clients located across

US. Clients are broadly classified as Easy Pay, Auto Pay and RUN. Easy Pay

corresponds to clients which has employees from 1-9 which uses AS400 as the

payroll platform. Auto Pay corresponds to clients with 10-99 employees

which uses Mainframes as payroll platform. RUN has employees in the range

of 100- 999 which uses SAP as the payroll platform.

AOS Application has the detailed data of the clients and its employees

enrolled in specific worker compensation policies with respect to the state

where the client is operating. AOS has wide variety of rules for creating

and operating policies for clients and its employees. AOS has the

feasibility to specify the respective net rates for specific enrolments of

employees.

AOS recently added a Heath and Benefit feature which allows the employee's

dependent's to be enrolled for specific policies for coverage and benefits.

AOS has Group Health and Client Inventory where group health feature

provides benefits for clients who are not payroll clients and Client

Inventory helps in maintaining insurance for Clients (Owners of the

organization)

Project Description

The purpose of the project is to work on major and minor enhancements

on Infinity Application. This project allows enhancing the current

application with the major and minor functionalities that are present in

Zeus application and also new functionalities. This application is

basically related to processing medical only claims.

This system deals with medical only claims. If the system identifies a

medical claim then it will initiate a workflow task. By default this task

will be assigned to admin user. Admin user can share the load to the

concern managers by transferring them. The transferred tasks will be

displayed on the dash board of the corresponding manager with the due date

to handle. Manager can directly attend to the call (handling the task) or

he can transfer the tasks to subordinates.

Javalina is, to a large extent, an implementation of HEALTHpac 4 in Java.

It consists of an application server and a web client. The application

server processes requests in the form of XML messages and responds with

another XML message. Clients communicate with the application server using

XML message interface.

This module contains the key components required to perform functions in

nearly all other modules. Master File information contains key data

required for most applications: the maintenance of Block of Business

information (Block of Business, Client, Location, Department, Employee and

Dependent information), maintenance of provider/network information, and

defining standard code tables. Each of these items is static data

maintenance applications, and they each require minimally the ability to

add, modify and successfully save records.

The application is developed for Montefiore to manage their contracts. A

contract holds a Description along with the Vendors, Departments and a set

of relevant files apart from the contract expiry date. The application has

provisions for creating vendors, departments and users using Administration

screens. The "Create Contracts" allows users to create contracts by

providing appropriate title/description followed by choosing Vendors and

Departments. The "Search Contracts" allows users to search contracts based

on keyword entered in search criteria. The application has provision for

Searching contracts which are pertaining to multiple vendors, departments

as well as varying dates. The Search also provides finding the contracts

based on the attached Documents along with the content. The create

contracts interface allows the user to add multiple vendors and departments

using dynamic select boxes. The create contract also allows Uploading of

files for each of the contract being created. The file upload interface

also allows dynamic view and removal of files.
