Mathematics Teacher
A flexible and competent math teacher with an ability to explain mathematical concepts and
procedures (both in applied and pure mathematics) in an easily apprehensible manner. Patient in
enhancing students’ disposition to do mathematics. Capable of engaging students to an interesting
and effective classroom discourse, worthwhile mathematical tasks, and a learning environment
which supports students’ disposition to do and learn math. Integrates technology in the teaching of
math and is able to integrate values and faith to certain mathematical concepts and procedures.
Aware of the different problem solving/teaching strategies as well as with the appropriate
assessment tools in the teaching and learning of math.
