Highlights
I was able to take the failing fabrication business unit and increase
capacity, reduce overhead and increase on time delivery to enable the
site to grow from $60 million and annual revenues to $84 million in
annual revenues.
Increase equipment utilization from 42% to 72 % to generated to a cost
avoidance of $1.2 to $1.8 million of capital investments for the site
Reduced labor cost by 1/3 for $875K annual savings
Decreased scrap due to material overrun by $75K annually.
Developed and implemented a PM and TMP system to equipment in
the plant.
Staffed and developed a business plan for the maintenance department.
The department increased uptime thru out the site by 75%.
For safety we were able to achieve 3 million hours without a
lost time incident. This was in a metal shop running 24 hours 7 days a
week.
Project Management

ensured timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for

Highlights
Completed an outsourcing project that increased business revenues by
$32 million annually. The project was complete product transfer to a
sister site in Mexico. This was accomplished 3 months ahead of
schedule with complete regulatory filing with FDA and Mexican
regulatory agencies

Analyzed workflow and performed basic line balancing with the use of
sub-assemblies and labor variations, resulting in the line balanced
for one piece flow at each station. In 3 months, we improved daily
production from 2 to 14 units per day, increased labor efficiency and
utilization by 40%, driving down unit cost by 18%, all increasing
daily gross revenue from $15K to $105K and monthly revenue from $240K
to $1.68M. An annual sale increase from $2.9 million to $20 million
