EXPERIENCE:
Welding:
- Certifications in: mig, tig, flux core, heliarc, acetylene, oxygen,
cutting, & arc welding
- Weld storage racks, automobile parts, metal cabinets
- Use hand grinders to finish surfaces
- Follow blueprints
Production/Factory:
- Operate/feed drill presses, brake presses, punch presses, metal cutting
saws, spot welders, lathes, metal stamping machines, robotic production
machines,
- Use hand tools, air tools & power hand tools: power drills & saws,
hammers, etc.
- Perform basic assembly on materials; debur/trim excess off
parts/materials
- Visually inspect work and use calipers, micrometers, tape measures,
blueprints, schematics, assembly instruction sheets, operator's manuals,
and gauges to verify quality; SPC calibrations; ISO 9000; ISO/TS 16949 QC
tracking
- Cleanup work area and stock supplies for oncoming shift
- Train and supervise other employees doing production work
Material Handling:
- Operate forklifts: load, balance and unload trucks and maintain proper
inventory of incoming & outgoing materials, supplies and equipment
- Take part in scheduled and spot inventories of stock
- Sort, package, date, label, band, palletize, load, & unload materials
- Pick and pack orders for shipment and complete paperwork
- Move materials throughout plant and stage materials for production
