Team Leader of the Ergo Design Team (1998-2004)
Tasked with the redesigning production workstations from the ground up, implementing modern technology and ergonomics, while still
maintaining the traditional handmade processes. Received extensive training in project management, group management, human interaction
processes, team building, conflict resolution, training program development, and data collection methods. Personally mentored and trained
in ergonomic design by Charles Mauro of Mauro New Media, one of the nation’s leading specialist and a pioneer in the union of engineering
design and ergonomics. Designed and implemented an extensive training program for more than 2000 employees to progress to a new
“workshop” concept at which the new workstation was a centerpiece. Worked directly with the Process Improvement division of the
company on designs concepts for the workshop concepts as well as other company initiatives.
Promoted to Workshop Supervisor
Successfully designed and implemented new workstations to more than 1200 employees companywide that was data proven to

Directed a team of 3 engineers tool and die technician, scheduling and production crew as well as four production managers. Headed
projects related to mold design, production improvement, process improvement, cost reduction, as well as redesigned the production
scheduling system. Directly responsible for all phases of projects sponsored by divisions such as production scheduling, blueprint
interpretation and modification request, cost estimating, material utilization, inspection processes, and quality management. Direct
communication with major corporations such as Cummins, Square D, GE, Honeywell, Mitsubishi, GM, Ford, Dodge, as well as traveling to
Mexico to work with international third party producers. Experienced in working in environments utilizing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma,
ISO 9000 and ISO 9001.
