special twice-weekly Ground Integration Working Group (GIWG) schedule
meetings to establish and distribute new schedule guidelines and
facilitate inputs to the schedule; creating a new schedule template for
NEE and external participants to populate the NOAA portion of the J-1
Mission Master IMS and to communicate their inputs to the Ground IMS;
reworking the Flight Vehicle Test Suite (FVTS) schedule inputs;
participating in planning meetings to create the new Mission Operations
Support Team (MOST) schedule; participating in Mission Synchronization
Working Group (MSWG) meetings to coordinate hand-off needs and review
Giver/ Receivers; revising and developing the Giver/Receiver portion of
the Ground IMS; working with the PIM to identify Ground Schedule Risks
for input to the Flight Project's revised Joint Confidence Level (JCL)
effort; and meeting with the PIM and program scheduling team to discuss
incorporating the Ground IMS into the JPSS Master IMS
V Intensified and accelerated schedule redevelopment effort is a major
input to support the overall plan to reach Step-2 of the JPSS-1 MPDR and
is a critical element to meeting the review's main success criteria of
closing the JPSS-1 schedule to a December 2016 launch date
